# Countdown! vs Countdown Widget

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Countdown! at 92% against Countdown Widget's 30%. Countdown! also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10). Countdown Widget's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 3.5) and ratings volume (419 vs 2). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown Widget sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Countdown! asks for nothing beyond the download.

Countdown Widget holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Countdown Widget has 419 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of Countdown!'s written reviews are positive against 30% of Countdown Widget's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
