# SaveLinks vs PDFForge

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SaveLinks at none against PDFForge's 4. SaveLinks also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks). PDFForge's advantage is ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PDFForge sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. SaveLinks asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for SaveLinks against 5.0 for PDFForge. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PDFForge has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SaveLinks ships an update every 3 days, PDFForge every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
