# Timeline vs Shared Timer

The clearest difference is update cadence: Timeline at every 2 days against Shared Timer's every 10 days. Timeline also leads on iOS requirement (14.0.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Timeline ships an update every 2 days, Shared Timer every 10 days. Both last shipped on September 28, 2026.
