# Fencing Helper vs OnStrip

The clearest difference is rating: OnStrip at 5.0 against Fencing Helper's 4.5. OnStrip also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). Fencing Helper's advantage is ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

OnStrip holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fencing Helper has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Fencing Helper ships an update every 3 weeks, OnStrip fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
