# trackBod vs PocketScale

trackBod and PocketScale both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of PocketScale's written reviews are positive against 43% of trackBod's. trackBod's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 46). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. trackBod sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and PocketScale sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for trackBod against 4.8 for PocketScale. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: trackBod has 1.1K ratings behind it against 46, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 43% of trackBod's written reviews are positive against 100% of PocketScale's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
