# Cove vs Soft60

The clearest difference is update cadence: Cove at weekly against Soft60's every 2 months. Cove also leads on ratings volume (1.7K vs 12). Soft60's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 76%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cove sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Soft60 sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Soft60 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cove has 1.7K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 76% of Cove's written reviews are positive against 100% of Soft60's.

Cove ships an update weekly, Soft60 every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
