# Left vs One Thing

Left and One Thing both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 73% of Left's written reviews are positive against 27% of One Thing's. Left also leads on monetization model (paid vs subscription) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks). One Thing's advantage is iOS requirement (17.2 vs 26.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Left sells 28 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and One Thing sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

One Thing holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 461 and 892 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of Left's written reviews are positive against 27% of One Thing's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Left ships an update every 3 days, One Thing every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
