# Left vs Pin

The clearest difference is rating: Pin at 5.0 against Left's 4.6. Pin also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 73%) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs paid). Left's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (455 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Left sells 28 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Pin sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pin holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Left has 455 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 73% of Left's written reviews are positive against 100% of Pin's.

Left ships an update every 4 days, Pin every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
