# Left vs TaskLock

Left and TaskLock both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of TaskLock's written reviews are positive against 73% of Left's. TaskLock also leads on monetization model (freemium vs paid) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). Left's advantage is ratings volume (429 vs 15). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Left sells 28 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and TaskLock sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Left against 4.6 for TaskLock. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Left has 429 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 73% of Left's written reviews are positive against 100% of TaskLock's.

Left ships an update every 4 days, TaskLock every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
