# Left vs FloatyDo

The clearest difference is rating: FloatyDo at 5.0 against Left's 4.6. FloatyDo also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 74%) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs paid). Left's advantage is ratings volume (413 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Left sells 27 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and FloatyDo sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FloatyDo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Left has 413 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 74% of Left's written reviews are positive against 100% of FloatyDo's.

Left ships an update every 3 days, FloatyDo every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 22, 2026 respectively.
