# Left vs BookGate

The clearest difference is update cadence: Left at every 4 days against BookGate's every 2 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Left sells 28 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and BookGate sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
