# Forgotten X vs Side

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Forgotten X at 97% against Side's 50%. Side's advantage is rating (3.8 vs 3.0) and in-app purchases (none vs 4). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Forgotten X sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Side asks for nothing beyond the download.

Side holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Side has 11 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 97% of Forgotten X's written reviews are positive against 50% of Side's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Forgotten X ships an update every 3 weeks, Side weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
