# Dayloop vs MoVid

The clearest difference is update cadence: MoVid at every 3 days against Dayloop's fortnightly. MoVid also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dayloop sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and MoVid sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dayloop ships an update fortnightly, MoVid every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
