# Bluck vs Deep Reading

The clearest difference is update cadence: Deep Reading at every 2 days against Bluck's every 11 days. Bluck's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bluck sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and Deep Reading sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bluck ships an update every 11 days, Deep Reading every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
