# Nowhere Prophet vs Dark Tap Dice

The clearest difference is price: Nowhere Prophet at Free against Dark Tap Dice's $0.49. Nowhere Prophet also leads on review sentiment (77% vs 42%) and ratings volume (39 vs 4). Dark Tap Dice's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.2) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Nowhere Prophet is free to download; Dark Tap Dice costs $0.49 up front. Nowhere Prophet sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Dark Tap Dice sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dark Tap Dice holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nowhere Prophet has 39 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of Nowhere Prophet's written reviews are positive against 42% of Dark Tap Dice's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Nowhere Prophet ships an update every 8 days, Dark Tap Dice weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
