# Solara vs Vision AI

The clearest difference is rating: Vision AI at 4.5 against Solara's 1.5. Vision AI also leads on ratings volume (1.6K vs 13). Solara's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Solara sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Vision AI sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Vision AI holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 1.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vision AI has 1.6K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of Solara's written reviews are positive against 4% of Vision AI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Solara ships an update weekly, Vision AI every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
