# CryptoDuck vs Trove

The clearest difference is update cadence: Trove at every 9 days against CryptoDuck's every 3 months. CryptoDuck's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CryptoDuck sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Trove sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CryptoDuck ships an update every 3 months, Trove every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
