# BeerCounter vs RealityKosmos

The clearest difference is ads: RealityKosmos at none against BeerCounter's shown. BeerCounter's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs monthly) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BeerCounter sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and RealityKosmos sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BeerCounter ships an update every 4 days, RealityKosmos monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
