# FPV vs AssembleCam

The clearest difference is update cadence: FPV at weekly against AssembleCam's every 3 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FPV sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and AssembleCam sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FPV ships an update weekly, AssembleCam every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
