# Launchmeter vs G

The clearest difference is ads: Launchmeter at none against G's shown. G's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 7 months) and device support (3 vs 1). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Launchmeter sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and G sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Launchmeter ships an update every 7 months, G every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
