# Daily Routine Planner vs Countdown

The clearest difference is ads: Daily Routine Planner at none against Countdown's shown. Daily Routine Planner also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Countdown's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Daily Routine Planner sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Countdown sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Daily Routine Planner ships an update every 4 months, Countdown every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
