# Mapper vs Enlay

The clearest difference is update cadence: Enlay at daily against Mapper's fortnightly. Enlay also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Mapper's advantage is ratings volume (17 vs 1) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mapper sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Enlay sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.79 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Enlay holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mapper has 17 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 85% of Mapper's written reviews are positive against 92% of Enlay's.

Mapper ships an update fortnightly, Enlay daily. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
