# Coherence vs Respirello

The clearest difference is monetization model: Respirello at freemium against Coherence's subscription. Respirello also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and review sentiment (100% vs 85%). Coherence's advantage is ratings volume (623 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Coherence sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Respirello sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Respirello holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Coherence has 623 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 85% of Coherence's written reviews are positive against 100% of Respirello's.

Coherence ships an update every 4 days, Respirello weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
