# Coherence vs Growbie

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Growbie at none against Coherence's 6. Growbie also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). Coherence's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (631 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Coherence sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Growbie asks for nothing beyond the download.

Growbie holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Coherence has 631 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Coherence ships an update every 4 days, Growbie every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
