# Coherence vs BreathHoldWork

The clearest difference is monetization model: BreathHoldWork at free against Coherence's subscription. BreathHoldWork also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and review sentiment (100% vs 85%). Coherence's advantage is ratings volume (619 vs 6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Coherence sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and BreathHoldWork sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BreathHoldWork holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Coherence has 619 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.
