# Coherence vs Rewire

The clearest difference is monetization model: Rewire at free with in-app purchases against Coherence's subscription. Rewire also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and review sentiment (100% vs 85%). Coherence's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (631 vs 9). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Coherence sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Rewire sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rewire holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Coherence has 631 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 85% of Coherence's written reviews are positive against 100% of Rewire's.

Coherence ships an update every 4 days, Rewire every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
