# Coherence vs Psycho Aesthetics

The clearest difference is monetization model: Psycho Aesthetics at freemium against Coherence's subscription. Psycho Aesthetics also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and review sentiment (100% vs 85%). Coherence's advantage is ratings volume (631 vs 3) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Coherence sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Psycho Aesthetics sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Psycho Aesthetics holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Coherence has 631 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 85% of Coherence's written reviews are positive against 100% of Psycho Aesthetics's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
