# ghostmemo vs Easy PGP

The clearest difference is rating: ghostmemo at 5.0 against Easy PGP's 4.1. Easy PGP's advantage is ratings volume (26 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13 vs 17.2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ghostmemo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Easy PGP sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ghostmemo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Easy PGP has 26 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ghostmemo ships an update monthly, Easy PGP every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
