# Collector vs Pickup Cat

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Collector at none against Pickup Cat's 3. Pickup Cat's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 10 days) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pickup Cat sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Collector asks for nothing beyond the download.

Pickup Cat holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 23 and 9 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Collector's written reviews are positive against 98% of Pickup Cat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Collector ships an update every 10 days, Pickup Cat every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
