# Flows! vs Foxtale

The clearest difference is ads: Flows! at none against Foxtale's shown. Foxtale's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (2.5K vs 1). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flows! sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $19.95 per month and Foxtale sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Flows! against 4.9 for Foxtale. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Foxtale has 2.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Flows! ships an update every 3 months, Foxtale weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
