# PolyScript vs HanziBen

The clearest difference is device support: PolyScript at 4 against HanziBen's 2. PolyScript also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PolyScript sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month and HanziBen sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PolyScript ships an update every 10 days, HanziBen every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
