# Learn Spanish vs Excel Classes

The clearest difference is ads: Excel Classes at none against Learn Spanish's shown. Learn Spanish's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Learn Spanish sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Excel Classes sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Learn Spanish ships an update fortnightly, Excel Classes every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
