# Samurai Sam vs Galactic Triad

The clearest difference is update cadence: Samurai Sam at every 5 days against Galactic Triad's every 6 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Samurai Sam sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and Galactic Triad sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Samurai Sam ships an update every 5 days, Galactic Triad every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
