# Notely AI vs HiNoter

The clearest difference is rating: HiNoter at 4.8 against Notely AI's 3.0. HiNoter also leads on ratings volume (960 vs 2) and chart position (#176 vs unranked). Notely AI's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 62%) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notely AI sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and HiNoter sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HiNoter holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HiNoter has 960 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Notely AI's written reviews are positive against 62% of HiNoter's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Notely AI ships an update fortnightly, HiNoter every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
