# Hyrox Timer vs Trainy

The clearest difference is ads: Hyrox Timer at none against Trainy's shown. Trainy's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hyrox Timer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Trainy sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hyrox Timer ships an update every 2 months, Trainy every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
