# Final Outpost vs Goblin Sushi

The clearest difference is monetization model: Final Outpost at free against Goblin Sushi's paid. Goblin Sushi's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (330 vs 40). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Final Outpost costs $4.99 and Goblin Sushi $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Goblin Sushi holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Goblin Sushi has 330 ratings behind it against 40, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Final Outpost's written reviews are positive against 71% of Goblin Sushi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Final Outpost ships an update fortnightly, Goblin Sushi weekly. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
