# Clean Now vs SGL

The clearest difference is rating: Clean Now at 4.4 against SGL's 1.0. Clean Now also leads on ratings volume (60 vs 1) and chart position (#199 vs unranked). SGL's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clean Now sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and SGL sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Clean Now holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Clean Now has 60 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Clean Now ships an update fortnightly, SGL every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
