# Remote TV vs Isolate

The clearest difference is update cadence: Isolate at every 10 days against Remote TV's every 2 months. Remote TV's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Remote TV sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Isolate sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Remote TV ships an update every 2 months, Isolate every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
