# Rubicone vs Location Life

Rubicone and Location Life are too close to call on the numbers: across 7 compared parameters — price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.

Both are free to download. Rubicone sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Location Life sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rubicone ships an update every 5 days, Location Life every 8 days. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
