# Vale Matcha vs Kitanda

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Vale Matcha at 100% against Kitanda's 29%. Vale Matcha also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 5 weeks). Kitanda's advantage is ratings volume (202 vs 10) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Kitanda holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kitanda has 202 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Vale Matcha's written reviews are positive against 29% of Kitanda's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Vale Matcha ships an update every 10 days, Kitanda every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
