# VA vs StopGuide

The clearest difference is review sentiment: StopGuide at 100% against VA's 33%. StopGuide also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.0). VA's advantage is ratings volume (34 vs 4) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

StopGuide holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VA has 34 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 33% of VA's written reviews are positive against 100% of StopGuide's.

VA ships an update every 3 weeks, StopGuide fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 13, 2026.
