# Ward vs btrd

The clearest difference is rating: btrd at 5.0 against Ward's 4.5. btrd also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 5). Ward's advantage is ratings volume (48 vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ward sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. btrd asks for nothing beyond the download.
