# NovaWidget vs 元仔

The clearest difference is review sentiment: 元仔 at 63% against NovaWidget's 18%. 元仔 also leads on ratings volume (82 vs 1) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks). NovaWidget's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 21) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 元仔 sells 20 one-off in-app purchases. NovaWidget asks for nothing beyond the download.

NovaWidget holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 元仔 has 82 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of NovaWidget's written reviews are positive against 63% of 元仔's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

NovaWidget ships an update every 3 weeks, 元仔 every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
