# Top Hat vs Wisconsin Involvement Network

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Wisconsin Involvement Network at 100% against Top Hat's 15%. Wisconsin Involvement Network also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks). Top Hat's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (23K vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Top Hat holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Top Hat has 23K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of Top Hat's written reviews are positive against 100% of Wisconsin Involvement Network's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Top Hat ships an update every 2 weeks, Wisconsin Involvement Network weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
