# Teach! vs Devotion First

The clearest difference is monetization model: Teach! at free against Devotion First's free with in-app purchases. Teach! also leads on ratings volume (9 vs 1). Devotion First's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Devotion First holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Teach! has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Teach! ships an update every 5 days, Devotion First every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
