# Gamepad Controller vs AC Remote

The clearest difference is monetization model: AC Remote at free with in-app purchases against Gamepad Controller's subscription. AC Remote also leads on rating (4.5 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (212 vs 58). Gamepad Controller's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 3 months).
