# Lately vs Helthy

The clearest difference is update cadence: Helthy at every 3 days against Lately's every 2 weeks. Helthy also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.6) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lately sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Helthy sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Helthy holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 47 and 25 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 94% of Lately's written reviews are positive against 90% of Helthy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lately ships an update every 2 weeks, Helthy every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
