# Weight Diary vs Calipet

The clearest difference is ads: Weight Diary at none against Calipet's shown. Weight Diary also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). Calipet's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Weight Diary sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and Calipet sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
