# DIMI vs HamBand

The clearest difference is update cadence: HamBand at every 10 days against DIMI's every 20 months. DIMI's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DIMI ships an update every 20 months, HamBand every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
