# Mashhuda vs Kalam

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Mashhuda at none against Kalam's 18. Mashhuda also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Kalam's advantage is ratings volume (6.8K vs 6) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 6 weeks). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kalam sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Mashhuda asks for nothing beyond the download.

Mashhuda holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kalam has 6.8K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Mashhuda ships an update every 6 weeks, Kalam every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
